Meditation and Buddhism in Orlando

Welcome to the home of Meditation and Buddhism in Orlando! Buddhist meditation is for everybody, regardless of religious background, race, ethnicity, gender, or orientation. We happily welcome everyone, including people of all faiths, to our center.

Few places in our country offer the beauty and attractions that Central Florida has to offer. From the never stopping stream of sunshine and the sublime beauty of tropical flora to the spectacular sunsets, the beauty of Central Florida is hard to match. Yet even in this beautiful location we are beset by the stresses and problems of daily life.

The meditation classes offered by Vajrapani Center are time tested instructions for reducing stress, increasing our happiness, and developing tools and techniques to achieve real and lasting inner peace. By applying meditation for mere minutes a day we can see visible and lasting changes in our relationships at work and at home. Buddhist meditation is a tried and true method for creating a permanent place of peace and sunshine right inside your mind.

1000 Arms of Compassion
Compassion Buddha ~ Avalokiteshvara

We offer classes on Buddhist meditation and spirituality in Orlando, and also a branch class on meditation in Orange City. These teachings are presented with Western culture in mind and offer Buddhist meditation and spirituality in a manner which is especially easy to integrate into our busy lives. These classes are easy to begin and offer plenty for both the novice and advanced student alike.

Why should I meditate?

We should meditate because even few minutes of meditation a day can elevate our mood and sense of well being for the whole day. We live in a fast paced society often filled with an abudance of stress, fear and anxiety. Buddhist meditation is a reliable and proven tool to deal with these negative states of mind.

Why should I take meditation classes?

We should take meditation classes because like any other practical skill in our life we are more effective, efficient and skilled if we've received correct instructions from someone who is more experienced than us.

These classes offer practical and time tested ways to deal with the problems that arise in our daily lives. Presented in Western context these meditation classes allow us to decrease the amount of stress, fear and anger we experience. By becoming free of these obstacles we can begin to direct our positive energy towards ourselves and others, improving our relationships and making our lives very meaningful.
