The Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Prajnaparamita
Great Mother Prajnaparamita is the manifestation of Buddha’s Perfection of Wisdom. Her function is to enable us to overcome outer and inner obstructions by bestowing a special realization of the higher perfection of wisdom, the essence of enlightenment. By receiving her blessings we can dispel all negativity and obstructions. Through her powerful blessings we deepen our experience of ultimate truth to come closer to a lasting solution to all our problems.
An empowerment is a special ceremony in which we receive a deep blessing on our very subtle mind that heals our mental continuum and awakens our own Buddha nature. It consists of meditations, guided visualizations and prayers followed by teachings to explain the practice and will include a delicious vegetarian lunch.
It is through the kindness of the great Buddhist meditation master Geshe Kelsang Gyatso that we can receive this profound tantric empowerment. Kadam Ricc Bishop received many teachings and empowerments from Venerable Geshela, and has taught Kadampa Dharma extensively for over 20 years. He is qualified to grant these blessings and give clear explanation of the practices.

SATURDAY Sept 9
9:30–10am Registration

12pm-1:15pm A delicious vegetarian lunch
1:15–2:30pm Transmission of the Tantra: The Yoga of the Great Mother Prajnaparamita
3pm-4:15pm A fully Guided Meditation of the Tantric Practice
SUNDAY Sept 10 (Optional)
12:00pm-1:30pm Commentary to Overcoming Obstacles with The Heart Sutra
2:00pm-3:00pm Engaging in the Actual Practice of Destroying Obstacles
3.30pm-4:30pm Wishfulfilling Jewel with Tsog Offering
~ Donation for both days: $65 | $50 for Supporting Members | $50 for Saturday only ~
Please note: No one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you are experiencing financial difficulty but wish to attain this blessing empowerment, you may engage in doing specific work or a needed job around the center in exchange. You must write in advance to epc@meditationinorlando.org if you need a job to do :-)
