About the Teachings & Ceremony
Buddha, Dharma and Sangha are known as the Three Jewels. When we go for refuge to the Three Jewels, this means, we rely upon them everyday and we enter the Buddhist family. June 4th is a special day for this family, as it is Buddha’s Turning of the Wheel of Dharma Day and Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s birthday!
On this special day Kadam Ricc Bishop will give teachings in the morning on what going for refuge means. Then in the afternoon he will offer the Refuge Ceremony for those students who would like to formalize their decision to become a Buddhist.
Everybody is welcome. This meditation day course is perfect for all levels of experience and will include a delicious vegetarian lunch after the ceremony.
