General Spiritual Director: Gen-la Kelsang Jampa

Gen-la Jampa is an internationally renowned, ordained Buddhist teacher and the General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU).

As a senior NKT teacher, Gen-la Jampa has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years, and under Geshe-la’s guidance has taught at many centers and events around the world.

Gen-la is well-loved for his clear and inspiring teachings and his ability to touch people’s hearts through his sincerity and loving-kindness.

Deputy Spiritual Director: Gen-la Kelsang Sangden

Gen-la Sangden is the Deputy Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU, and is the National Spiritual Director of Kadampa Buddhism in Mexico, Colombia, Nicaragua and Peru, and the Resident Teacher at KMC Mexico.

She is admired by many for her good example and her loving and clear advice. She has practised and taught Kadampa Buddhism for over 25 years.

Eastern US National Spiritual Director: Kadam Morten Clausen

Kadam Morten Clausen is the Eastern US National Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition and Resident Teacher at the Kadampa Meditation Center New York City.
Kadam Morten is greatly admired as a meditation teacher and is especially known for his clarity, humor and inspirational presentation of Dharma. His teachings are always practical and easy to apply to everyday life.

Orlando Resident Teacher: Kadam Ricc Bishop

Kadam Ricc Bishop is the Resident Teacher at Vajrapani Center. Kadam Ricc has been a disciple of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over 20 years. Venerable Geshe Kelsang assigned Ricc as a Resident Teacher in 2006 and he was granted the senior title of ‘Kadam” in 2010. Kadam Ricc has studied, practiced and taught others Kadampa Dharma for many years and is qualified to teach the paths of Sutra and Tantra. He takes a special delight in offering Buddha’s teaching as practical advice for a happy and meaningful life.

Kadam Ricc teaches our Sunday Morning, Tuesday and Thursday evening drop in meditations classes as well as the deeper study of the Foundation Program and Teacher Training Program. Kadam Ricc also leads many retreats and special events at the Center.
