Introduction to Buddhist Meditation

Meditation is a method for acquainting our mind with virtue.

Virtue is a calm and peaceful mind. When our mind is peaceful we are free from worries and mental discomfort, and we experience true happiness.

In the field of our mind we all have seeds to gain realizations of all the stages of the path to enlightenment. Our meditation practice is like cultivating these seeds, or potential, but for our meditation practice to be successful we need to prepare well beforehand.

In this series, Kelsang Gyudzhin will guide us gently through how to meditate including how to make excellent preparations so that we can be confident and enjoy our meditation practice.

We welcome you to join the class any Thursday. Please register 24 hours in advance to join the live stream.
